Compliance by country
Five authorities. Five sets of rules. One partner.
Every revenue authority below has its own message format, its own onboarding process and its own idea of what a valid invoice looks like. Find yours, and see what getting compliant actually involves.
🇷🇼 Rwanda · Rwanda Revenue Authority
Electronic Billing Machine
Rwanda requires VAT-registered businesses to issue invoices through an approved electronic billing machine, so that every sale is signed and reported to the RRA as it happens rather than at the end of a period.
What we do here
- EBM integration for POS, ERP and in-house systems
- Virtual sales data controller that signs and forwards each invoice
- INJONGE POS as a complete billing system where a business wants one
- Offline operation with automatic catch-up when the link returns
- Stock, purchase and item registration handling alongside sales
Who this affects
VAT-registered businesses, and any business the authority has brought into scope for electronic invoicing. If you issue tax invoices in Rwanda, this applies to you.
🇰🇪 Kenya · Kenya Revenue Authority
eTIMS
eTIMS is the KRA's electronic tax invoice management system. Invoices must be transmitted to KRA and carry the control details that make them valid for your customer to claim against.
What we do here
- eTIMS integration for existing ERP, POS and accounting systems
- Middleware for businesses posting high invoice volumes across branches
- Item and customer data mapping into the formats eTIMS expects
- Credit notes, returns and corrections handled properly, not worked around
- INJONGE POS for businesses that want the till and the filing together
Who this affects
Businesses required to issue electronic tax invoices in Kenya. In practice this now reaches well beyond large VAT-registered companies, and the invoice your supplier gives you matters as much as the one you issue.
🇲🇼 Malawi · Malawi Revenue Authority
Electronic invoicing
The MRA requires businesses to issue invoices electronically and report them to the authority, replacing the older manual and standalone-machine approaches.
What we do here
- Connecting Malawian businesses to the MRA's electronic invoicing system
- Integration with the POS or ERP already in use
- INJONGE POS deployment for retail, wholesale and hospitality
- Local deployment, training and support
Who this affects
Businesses within the MRA's electronic invoicing requirements. If you are unsure whether you are in scope, tell us what you trade and we will tell you what we understand the position to be.
🇧🇮 Burundi · Office Burundais des Recettes
Facturation électronique
The OBR requires electronic billing, with invoices transmitted to the authority. We work in French with Burundian businesses and their existing systems.
What we do here
- Electronic billing integration for the OBR
- French-language deployment, training and documentation
- INJONGE POS for Burundian retail and wholesale
- Connecting existing systems rather than replacing them
Who this affects
Businesses required to issue electronic invoices in Burundi.
🇨🇩 DR Congo · Direction Générale des Impôts
Fiscalisation
The DGI is moving Congolese businesses onto electronic fiscal invoicing. We support that transition, in French, for businesses of very different sizes and levels of existing automation.
What we do here
- Fiscalisation integration for the DGI
- French-language deployment and support
- INJONGE POS where a business needs a billing system as well
- Practical help for businesses automating for the first time
Who this affects
Businesses brought into the DGI's electronic invoicing requirements.
Common questions
The four things everybody asks first.
Do I need a new POS?
No. Most of our work connects the system you already run to the authority. Replacing it is an option, not a requirement.
What if the internet drops?
You keep trading. Invoices are held locally and transmitted automatically once the connection returns — no lost sales, no re-keying.
Can one supplier cover several countries?
Yes. That is the reason multi-market businesses come to us. One partner, one relationship, five authorities.
What when the specification changes?
Authorities revise their specifications. We track those revisions and update your integration as part of support, so you are never filing to a dead format.
Not sure where you stand?
Tell us your country, what you trade and what you run. We will tell you plainly what compliance requires of you.
